Residential Mortgages

About

The specialist sector helps first-time buyers get on the ladder and homeowners remortgage or move home, by looking at the bigger picture to assess the affordability of the loan and the value of the property.
The lenders who we work with will consider borrowers with credit blips because they believe that these clients should not be blocked from buying a home if they can afford it, just because they have experienced a financial problem in their past.

If clients earn money in a non-standard way specialist lenders will take a thorough look at this income and outgoings and use experienced underwriters to work out what the borrower can afford – whether they work on a zero hour contract or run their own business. The same applies if they want to buy a lighthouse or a flat above a shop. The common sense approach to lending means clients may still be able to get on the property ladder, or get a better mortgage, despite having been rejected elsewhere.

With interesting and often complex cases it’s vital to have strong relationships with lender and underwriter, we’re confident given our 26 years of experience we can provide viable options for the borrower.

Important Notice

As a service to you we need to stress that due to current world events, interest rates are unpredictable and it is therefore likely that lenders will withdraw products at short notice.

Please ensure that your client is aware that the interest rate applied for cannot be guaranteed until a formal mortgage offer is received from the lender.

We would encourage your client to provide any requested information at their earliest convenience.
